Deforestation means cutting & burning down of forests. There are many causes of deforestation. People are increasing like mice in a barn. Their needs & necessities are also increasing similarly. As trees & plants are of great use to them, they cut them down. By burning down forests, they also make living places. However, they are not aware of the harmful effects of deforestation. Due to deforestation, carbon dioxide is increasing & so the weather pattern is being changed. The world is becoming warmer. The heat of the sun is trapped inside the atmosphere. As a result, the polar ice caps will melt & flood huge areas of the globe. Therefore, effective measures should be taken to prevent deforestation. A tree plantation program should be introduced. If one cuts down a tree, one should plant at least two trees. Besides, public awareness should be raised to grow 7 more trees.
