Global warming is the gradual rise in the temperature of the earth's atmosphere. This is caused by a decrease in oxygen (O2) & an increase in carbon dioxide (CO2) & other gases in the air that trap the warmth of the sun. This warming of the atmosphere changes the climate & causes cyclones, floods & other natural calamities that cause crop failure & loss of lives. The warming may cause a rise in the sea level by melting the ice in the polar regions. And a rise in the sea level will submerge many low-lying countries of the world. This danger is global because it will affect not only a particular country but the whole of the earth. People may be made conscious of this danger through the different media.
