A postman is a dutiful person. People call him Jim. He is known to all. He is also a familiar figure. He is a petty govt. service holder. When he does his duty, he wears a Khaki dress. He carries a bag hanging over his shoulder. His bag is full of letters, money orders, parcels & many other articles. He does his duties honestly & carefully. He goes from door to door from the postal articles to the payees. He doesn’t miss delivering anything. He does so many duties, but his salary is very low. He has a humble social status.

He receives letters, money orders, parcels, etc. He goes to his duty daily without an off day. The life of a postman isn’t easy. He comes to his duty at 9 am & works till afternoon. He leads a busy, punctual & dutiful life. The postman is usually very polite. He is a silent worker. A postman does a very useful work. He brings us news from our friends & relatives. We always hope that he will bring some good news. Sometimes he brings bad news also. The work of a postman is very hard. But it’s an important work. He does his honestly. So, we should behave well with him.
