Completing Story: Don’t Believe A Flatterer

One day a crow stole a piece of meat from the kitchen. It flew away & sat on the branch of a tree. At that time a fox was passing under that tree. He saw the crow sitting with the meat in its mouth. He became easily tempted to have the meat. He thought for some time. Then he hit upon a plan to have it. He asked the crow to sing a song with its sweet voice. At first the crow didn’t want to sing. But when the fox praised it & said, “Oh, beautiful crow! You look so fair. Your voice is very sweet. Would you please sing a song for me?” Hearing it the foolish crow felt proud & started singing. But as soon as it opened its mouth the piece of meat fell. The clever fox took it & ran away.
