A village fair gives us many
joys & pleasures. It is a special branch of our culture. A village fair is
an annual affair in Bangladesh. It is a large gathering place for men, women
& children. The village people gather here to sell & buy local
products. It is a great attraction to children. A village fair usually sits in
the central part of the village. It is also held in the beginning day of
Baishakh village fair is a kind of exhibition. The shopkeepers sit in rows.
Cloths, toys, cheap ornaments, cosmetics, cheap fancy goods, bamboo made
articles, sweetmeats etc. are sold in the village fair. Everybody buys things
after his own choice.
